Passport Block
NMHUs General Education curriculum aligns very well with the Interstate Passport PLOs. The curriculum is focused on a set of five "Essential Skills" - Communication, Quantitative Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Personal & Social Responsibility, and Information & Digital Literacy. This provides alignment with several of the Passport skill areas. These essential skills are integrated into required courses across six disciplinary areas - Communications, Mathematics, Science, Social & Behavioral Science, Humanities, and Creative & Fine Arts. This provides alignment with the remainder of the Passport knowledge and skill areas.
Additional information on our General Education curriculum is available from the NMHU Catalog.
