Located on a beautiful 672-acre campus, A&M-Central Texas meets the specific needs of transfer students arriving with academic credits earned at community colleges, other universities, or through military and vocational education. The university offers 30 undergraduate degrees and 19 graduate degrees.
A&M-Central Texas is one of the newest members of The Texas A&M University System and ranked among the most diverse universities in the United States. Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through research, capstone or service-learning projects.

A&M-Central Texas is an upper-level institution, fully aligned with regional community colleges and offering quality bachelor's and master's degrees with an emphasis on access and affordability.
As an upper-level institution, A&M-Central Texas does not issue Passports. As the state's only upper-division university, our expertise is focused on helping transfer students finish their bachelor's degrees affordably.

Program Highlights
A&M-Central Texas has degree programs in accounting, biology, business and management, CIS & IT, counseling, education, finance, nursing, psychology, mechanical engineering technology, mathematics, nursing and more. With a 15-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, A&M-Central Texas emphasizes close and continuous interaction with course faculty. The university includes dedicated writing and tutoring centers to help students and accessibility and inclusion programs to make barrier-free education available to all.
