PASSPORT BLOCK OVERVIEW

Athens State University is a unique institution in that it only offers coursework at the junior/senior or graduate level. As the only institution in the state of Alabama offering exclusively upper-division (junior/senior) and graduate Athens State University serves as the destination college for transfer students. All students entering as degree-seeking must have a minimum amount of earned college-level credit with an overall 2.00 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, or a degree from a duly accredited college or other institution of higher learning. Athens State University does not award the Passport but rather serves as a receiving institution for Passport earners.
