Casper College Passport Block

The Passport Block listed here is for general information only. Students must see the institution's website for access to its official block.

PASSPORT BLOCK OVERVIEW

Casper College's Passport Block was developed in tandem with our updated General Education curriculum. Using ideas and outcomes from various sources that were refined and approved by Casper College faculty, the Passport Block reflects Casper College's commitment to education that transforms, is transferable, and is lasting.

Approval of a course is predicated on Faculty submitting a proposal that addresses why a course belongs in any given category and how said course contributes to learning in this specific area. Faculty list course outcomes and how assessment of student learning is accomplished. This document is then provided to the curriculum committee which oversees the preliminary approval of or feedback for a course, and then said course progresses through the approval process.
